College Prospects
1）First, College of Humanities is featured by its highlight on studies of local culture and strengthening of participation in international academic community.
2） To remedy the negligence of humanistic spirit in the past due to emphasis of industrial and commercial development, it is the goal of the college to promote the humanistic quality of the school by creating a rich and diverse learning environment through specific measures such as hiring school-based writers and artists.
3）Our Dept. of Music Application approved by government authorities is devoted to research and preservation of local traditional music, historical development of western music education as well as cultivation of musical and artistic talents. Beyond such program design, the department has organized annual concerts with integration of local culture by inviting the participation of whole Tamsui community.
4）To help school achieve equal emphasis on both humanity and natural science in replace of existing general education, we have planned and work to provide a curriculum of excellence furnished by well-qualified faculty of humanistic training.
